When I use Tapatalk and go to my bookmarked threads and click one, it takes me the first page of the thread (or the last, I can't remember which, it's been a while). I prefer it if it took me to the first unread post; is there any way to do this?

SF is the main reason I bought it, and I spend most of my time in certain subscribed threads.

Is Tapatalk working at all? I haven't tried in months but when I did before it was so screwed up as to be unusable.

yes it does, used it to post this morning. It still has a few problems but you can definitely keep up with the boards.

So I checked it just now and in the settings there's an option for what to do when you go to a forum. My default was already at First Unread post, but I changed it to Ask Me Every Time, and then tried it, and it worked.

Maybe I'll just leave it at that, I don't really mind the extra click if it's working. Or some time later I'll try leaving it to that as the default.

Yeah, I have it set to first unread but it always just brings me to the last page...

I have not seen that "ask me every time" option...must be new. I'll try that and see if it works.

Are you an iphone user? I am pretty sure I have the most recent android version of tapatalk and "Ask Me Every Time" is not an option I see in the settings.

I thought we already talked about this :plain:

OTC, I am an iphone user and the option is there. But I have it set up to automatically load the last comment and it works fine.

I've been thinking about getting Tapatalk, but I'm not sure. The web interface on my phone is OK. And I can manage my PMs. That's key. If Tapatalk can't handle PMs that's a tough call for me.

its only a few bucks, and well worth it, imo. beats browsing and posting from the browser on your phone. far easier and less time consuming.

Yeah I'm an iPhone user; I guess the Android version doesn't have it.

Not that it matters. I have it set so that it asks me but it still takes me to the last post in a thread.

    So far I feel cheated $2.99. :)

:eh: this feeling will go away once you become more active on the forum, trust me.

I mean look at stitch, his rabbi has singled him out numerous times during service because he was browsing the "would you hit it" thread on teh styleforvm. :)
