    Which?

The grey herringbone. I think/hope it's the same one shown in the first image when you go to their web-site (the one with the nipple-shot [IMG] )

Which sports coats are of high quality at Suitsupply & ones which you would recommend? Do they sell single breasted SCs with large peak lapels? Thanks in advance. [IMG]

Construction-wise, there's no such thing as good quality @ SuitSupply. There is acceptable quality given the price point. I don't know about their mtm or bespoke options but they don't sell RTW SB PL SCs (heh, don't think I've ever used four acronyms in a row [IMG] )

Well, you're absolutely right! The Washington model (of which I didn't know they made SCs) is SB PL. But it also has a ticket pocket and five buttons on the sleeve which you have to appreciate (particularly the latter, ticket pocket's fine with me).

I'm with you on the buttons (and the ticket pocket). Five is one, two, three or even four too many.

This seems to be one of the better models IMO. However,a five button sleeve is slightly overdoing it. Are there other models that you would recommend? They don't necessarily need to be SB PL. [IMG]

It was just an example of a SB PL. I'm afraid I can't recommend anything, because I don't know the models.

They're trying to emulate Tom Ford, most likely.

Yes, I'm there to look at mens clothing, not soft core porn.

It comes off as really weird and creepy to me.

The shoulders on both of the coats pictured above look like they have dimples. I tend to steer clear of stuff that can't be made to look good on a model.

My boss owns one of these. It's actually the worst suit I' ve ever seen. They're huge in Holland among those who don' t care about what they wear.

They're huge in Holland among those who don' t care about what they wear or cannot yet afford to buy better quality stuff.

the wall street journal made an article about the prices of suits those days:
    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...135584478.html

    here's what they say:

"Testers said a $614 suit from Suitsupply, an Amsterdam-based company that will open its first U.S. store in New York next month, matched a $3,600 Armani in quality and outperformed designs from J. Crew, Hart Schaffner Marx, Target and H&M."

    OUCH! [IMG]

So neutral and serious comparison or free advertising?

    Who could really compare?
