I don't know, they were made in Italy. I got them at least 15 years ago.
Back then you could buy shoes at the RL outlet stores.

Cross-post from Shoe Appreciation thread...

Edward Green Galway in Tobacco Suede - size 10.5/11 D on the 202 last - double Dainite soles

The second photo is the best representation of color.

suede shoes piss me off. they can be very nice looking, but you have to count on great weather and an accident-free controlled environment to wear them. as a 20-something in nyc, that happens almost never. i have a beautiful pair of bruni magli brown suede loafers, and i've worn them about 8 times in 5 years.

also, i'd never wear suede with a suit. doesn't look right.

Protective spray is the solution to your first problem. I'm wearing suede all the time and believe me, winter in Berlin has enough snow, wet and dirt.

Your second problem isn't as easy to solve. But it's a bigger one anyway.

I regularly wear suede shoes with suits. I think it gives a more traditional outfit a more distinctive edge. That and the fact that I love suede shoes regardless of what I'm wearing. I like texture in clothes so suede fits right into that.
