Completely surprised UPS just delivered my Merino when the driver who does my route always delivers my stuff after 7pm.

Got the light grey, and the coat is HEAVY, which is exactly what I wanted for the dead winter up here in New England. Haven't tried it on w/o the lining and/or hood to see how it looks/drapes w/o them, but it would seem buttoning it up with the lining and hood attached will be an ordeal. Sleeves are unlined, which sucks..but it's an easy thing to fix down the road. I'll also probably have to get the sleeves shortened.

PSA : NMWA goes live with their remaining stock at 2pm today.

Is it an easy tailoring job to get sleeves lined?

Depends on how the sleeve is put together for a particular jacket. In the case of the Merino, it should be very easy for an experienced tailor. I'm thinking about doing the lining myself (I do my own basic alterations - hems, certain sleeves, taper).

Nice. I'd save so much money if I were able to do basic alterations. I ordered the light grey too. Can't wait. Did you get a tracking number before it was delivered?

Paid the remaining deposit maybe 30 minutes after I got the email that the pre-orders were in. Got tracking# little later in the evening yesterday (~6pm est?). I'm happy NYC->BOS is 1 day for UPS usually.

got emmmmm.

charcoal in IV and grey in III. will most likely send one back, we'll see.

thank you jesus, thank you lord.

4 will be too big and 3 I think will fit you.

In terms of coat sizing my camel merino size 4 fits like a 50/40/L and the two other size 5 I've had fit only slightly bigger in the shoulders, arm length and maybe in the chest but since it was so minimal I didn't notice much. But from a 4 to a 3 there's a bigger drop.

My size 4 merino in the shadow fabric fits like a 38.
