I would say it's different, it's not as asymmetric and I think it's probsbly sharper cut considering Benes fit. Looks different in terms of how the hood falls when open. This is the Berber I have and I love it. Also I think the front pockets really throw it off a little.

Sage jacket in storm or iijevan in charcoal burgundy?
First SS piece, looking for a good entry point.

I think it comes down to where you live, what you will get the most wear out of, your body type (Ijevan is more boxy I'm guessing) and what holes you have in your current wardrobe. A cardigan and mid-weight jacket have different uses. Both are great pieces though.

Good call, I can definatley use a knit, so leaning towards iiljevan. Im 6'4 / 185, would a size seven be most appropriate? I tend to go boxy/oversized versus fitted.

The mohair content actually makes it quite itchy, it's probably the most uncomfortable knit I own, but looks very nice.

Idk if you guys are just sensative or what but I actually find the Ijevan pretty comfortable.

All of Schneider's wool stuff I've worn have been pretty damn itchy but eventually you just forget about it since everything he makes is so damn fly

itchiness on the ijevan was one of the main reasons I ended up not buying last season...also wasn't a huge fan of the excessive structure in the shoulder. and 2nd nations on sizing, 7 in the ijevan is LARGE, I was leaning toward the 6 from what I remember
