Have a stain on my new pair of Polo Ralph Lauren Darlton brown shell loafers. It is about the size of a half dollar on the top of the shoe. Don't know what it is.

What is the best way to clean it?

Think I read a mention of a good Saphir product to help clean. Can anyone provide details? Thanks. I wore these just a few times and they have been sitting in my closet out of sight and out of mind for a year. Time to deal with this.

Kirby Allison of the Hanger Project recommended Saphir Renomat (sp?). Anyone have experience with this stuff?

I have tried brushing like mad, soaking with water, and Venetian cream. These babies are begging me to get back on the streets.
