Is this worthwhile historical thread to dissolve into yet anoter pathetic bash Manton "he said I said" enfilade. Where is the Redaktor when you need him?

what would you wear this with and in what situation? [IMG]

Of course, like Bruno Anthony, one could always wear them to meet a stranger on a train. [IMG]

If you are looking for an opportunity to participate in a special make-up spec order, there's good news!

We are a go on the Alden Snuff Suede/Brown Calf spectator through Tom Park at Leather Soul.

    Check it out on AAAC.

I'm looking forward to wearing my BB Peal calf/suede specs this summer. Any thoughts on caring for these? Aside from carefully applying conditionner and wax on the calfskin, should I treat the suede with suede spray?

    PG,

I saw those in the WAYWRN thread and I really liked them.
I was particularly impressed by the way that you've apparently managed to match your bag to your spectators - are the corners on the bag navy like the specs, or black?

C&J have a spectator called the Gerrard 3 on the 348 last in bracken leather and stone canvas in a UK E width. Retail (including VAT) is listed as UKP265.

If I thought it would fit me, I'd buy it without hesitation!

I love these Trickers that salsalocust posted a while back. I'd love to have this color combo made on the EG Falkirks.
