I wear mine out to dinner in the summer with linen pants and a sportcoat, or even with a cotton or linen suit. I like this version a lot.

^^^ I will also wear them with seersucker, and with light toned tropical or fresco suits. I have no problem wearing them in the daytime.

The leather is Vintage Cedar.

I just find the stark contrast too much, if the white had been beige or light brown, I would like them better. They are not my shoes so it does not matter what I say and I only criticize cause manton is one of the few that does not flip his sh#t when criticized but I also think on alot of these special order G&G people/gaziano have gone overboard with this bezeled waist thing, they look like women's shoes, particularly when you add that canted heel or whatever it's called. I'm all for sleek but lets keep some manliness in a man's shoe.

Today is hater Saturday for me by the way. Pissed at the weather so all my posts for the day will be denigrating and critical.

Well, I also like the brown & beige spec, but only if the beige is linen. I don't like beige suede. I thought about getting the EG Malvern in chestnut and twill, and it would have been a lot less money, but the brown with white calf is a more iconic design and I like the way it pops. It may turn out that these don't get out much, in which case, these will end up as my only pair. But if I do end up wearing them a lot I can see getting Malvern some day. I would also like a white & brown loafer, with the apron of the loafer white. and the sides and vamp strap brown. And Matt's Norwegian specs are very nice, but who need four pairs of specs?

EDIT: As to the waist, that's just what Tony likes to do. I don't absolutely have to have it, but I don't mind it either. It affects the look of the shoe when worn not at all. I do like the way he does the heel.

Great looking spectators, Manton! However, I reminded of the prescription of Il Maestro, Nicholas Antongiavanni, that spectators "are perhaps best left to the golf course and the race track." Since I don't see any cleats, are we to infer that you are quite an enthusiastic turfman?

Nice shoes Manton....

I was at the Ralphie store the other day and they had a very similar RLPL two tone in white and brown on sale. This reminded me of LL version.

If you (or anyone else) have seen the RLPL version of this two tone, how would you compare that one to this by G&G?

Secondly these below are not mine... but are certainly the most appealing two tones I have seen in a long long time.

not exactly in black and white but try to picture these in brown and white.

On a golf course they'd look nifty.

Nice shoes. I love the cedar color and the toe shape.

Smart round?

Noted: Vintage cedar is delicate colour.

OMG, Mantoni has finally busted a move.

Though forensics will prove that iammatt's fingerprints are all over this.
