Sounds as though, and based on recent posts @Leaves needs to get hot on this restock.

It appears as my pair should clear customs on Monday. Fingers crossed.

X-posting from the Carmina thread. Just wanted to share 2 pairs of Carmina suede shoes/boots kopped recently. One from Carmina online the other by way of Skoab

The nap of the suede on both shoes are great. Colors are also different enough not to overlap.
As always thank you to @GabrielOB of Skoab for the great service on the boot GMTO.

Now if I can just get 5 more people to do a fox/tabacco suede 3 eyelet chukka in Soller last, I'll be able to complete my trinity of suede wants from Carmina.

For now it's taking all my will power not to join in on the Shanklin rerun.

So just to check again it is on the 202 last unlined with the R1 sole and there are enough people in that we can now jump in for additional widths? If so I may jump in too.

Can someone post another picture of it?

Thanks. Oh and do you guys keep the same size for the unlined or do you get smaller since it can easily stretch?

I went with the same size, keep in mind I haven't received mine yet. However I believe that was @Leaves recomendation as well.

i'm just not sure because my Alderley are a bit long and still wide so i was going to go down 1/2 size from now on anyway, but I'm not sure if it would be better to go down a full size since they might stretch without the lining. And if they are a bit small then they still should work. it is a tough decision.

I would imagine @Leaves would be able to give you some good advice here.

hopefully he will chime in soon, or i'll email them at Skoak.

but are we set with enough people to do it?

and is it still 50 now / 50 later like MTOs?

Nobody has hearded the cats, but if you go thru the thread you can pick out those that were interested. Granted some where different widths but it seems as though there should have been enough (3) on the same width.

If someone hearded the cats I'm sure you should have enough.

All MTOs I have participated in.and the one restock I participated in was 50 upfront and 50 before delivery. Also delivery fee at time of order, but this isn't much.

that is what i figured. I also just emailed Gabriel to ask what he thought too.

It is just tough since i know that i need at least 1/2 size down from my past pair anyway to help in both length and width. I just don't know if a full size would be better.

In GG on the TG73 and DG70 (plus my Kudu Thorpe on order) I am down 1 full size from the size of my EG Alderley (Uk 13.5 B) and the GG shoes have the best heel to ball fit and room for the toes with the extended toe boxes. That makes me consider the full size down for EG too, plus the unlined factor for this pair.

I'm just so tired of needing to wear multiple pairs of socks to help the width so down more would help that too.

Oh and for my Enzo Bonafe on that special last, I would go down another half size too for future pairs, which would make it the same size as I use for GG in length. Do you guys use the same size on the EG 202 as GG lasts?

Understand, and hopefully they can give you the sizing help you need. I'm just glad I don't face the same sizing challenges that you have.

    Good Luck!!

Yes, but we'd only need 1 of those 5 to be in for the restock to go through

I'd probably be more like a G width, but I'll stop by a few places and get sized this week.

    Definitely in.

I hope you buy something while being "sized", this is the reason Skoak is getting flak. Manufacturers are getting feedback from retailers who are having people waste their time "sizing" StC, GG, and EG.

i know. it is really a pain between my large size and even worse with the narrow width, but thankfully once i find a last and size that works pretty well, i can just order more and more. haha
