    Thanks!

    Getting even more antsy now since my shoes (some spanish brand called Farrutx that had a store on the same street you are on) just broke. Stretched my toes a bit and the leather split from the sole, gah!

    Can anyone comment on how the Armoury last fits? I just saw these:

    http://www.skoaktiebolaget.se/news/80231-armoury-negro1

    I'm in the market for a black punched captoe, and these seem to match exactly what I'm looking for. I'm guessing I probably need an 11UK, any chance there's still a pair in that size sitting around?

    Alan See told me this after I told him the Simpson fits me like a glove;

    I would recommend sticking to the Simpson last - the Armoury last is slightly wider than the simpson through the forefoot but skinny through the heel like the simpson. Also, we don't seem to have much armoury last sizes anymore!

    ^ slightly wider in the forefoot but skinner through the heel sounds like it should fit me great. I haven't tried Simpson (or really any Carmina last for that matter), but it's a bit too pointy in the toe for my tastes. The pics of this one on Skoak's website look slightly chiseled in the toe but not overly pointy. Skoak please tell me there's still an 11UK in this so I can take it off your hands! *fingers crossed*

    Yeah it looks like a fantastic last. Armoury has a shoe on their last I want but it's suede and they're charging as much as a Cordovan shoe from any other Carmina retailer. No thanks. Not paying to have the luxury of buying from Armoury when I'm on another continent.

    We do have this i UK 11. We won't be restocking any Armoury last models, I like the look of it but it's harder to fit than say Simpson.

    We actually just picked out a model and last we liked at the Carmina factory and it turned out to be the Armoury last. If the fit was similar to Forest I would have been happy to stock more models on Armoury last but it's just too narrow for the vast majority of our clients.

    It kind of makes sense that Armoury last would narrow one. I read somewhere that Asians on average have narrow feet and that Armoury last is probably targeted towards Asians clients.

    A narrow last is exactly what I need, since the majority of D width shoes are too wide for me, unless I size down 1/2.

    +1. forest is too wide for me, so i had to size down half on the terracota MTO. robert last is a good width for me. if simpson is a little narrower than robert, it should be spot on.

    i feel like my feet have gotten narrower over the years since i've been climbing and wearing really tight/narrow climbing shoes. :D

    No, I find Simpson to be much easier to fit.

    There isn't a list of sizes available - you have to post a question on the page for the shoe/boot you are interested in, or send them an e-mail directly. Personally I dislike this system (it feels a bit like playing boot battleship ...) but I guess they have a reason for doing things this way.

    Saying that I should add that I was one of the customers on the Oscar boot last year (finally picked them up from my friend in Hong Kong recently) and I only have good things to say about the customer service at Skoaktie (in particularly there was a problem with my Paypal payment that they worked to get sorted) so if there a shoe you are interested in just contact them.
