    What did you order?

    Agree on the
    +2

Questions, request for pics, etc. They're super responsive shoe geeks and shipping was about a week to CA.

^ Awesome collection and picture. Love those all but the norvegese shell boot is awesome in particular. Thoughts on quality of the shell vs. Carmina?

Is the top balmoral boot (labeled Frankenstitch by mistake) in calf or shell?

Thank you for pointing that out Budapest12, indeed I did get mixed up ... too many shoes :) I have corrected the labels now hopefully !

The Meermin shell (Rocinante Tannery, Argentina) is definitely not as rich and deep as Horween's however I must say that after 2 years (for the black boots) they are performing quite well.

I cannot praise the team at Skoak more and have also always had very good relationship with Meermin. The dark blue Norvegese Cap Toe Derby Boots are Meermin MTO and just arrived a few days ago. I was expecting a more vibrant blue but overall a beautiful pair.

I remember that you guys mentioned a while ago that you'll receive a new dark brown suede oxford this fall. How is this model different compared to the Suede Allstar model you had in stock?

Do you think you will ever have a restock the Carmina suede chukka in dark chocolate and sandy suede? I missed out on these and while I like the tobacco version, enjoy these versions better.

It's this model but in dark brown suede:

We'll stock a brown suede Chukka, but at this moment I have not decided on the exact make up. It will probably be launched sometime during October or November.

Any chance of stocking a tobacco suede shoe, any style?

And I believe you said the Enzo wholecut is due for a Fall restock?

Just received Carmina GMTO winter boots, thanks guys from the Skoaktiebolaget.

Anybody else got his pair? Want to know opinion, cause having troubles to express mine. I would say Carmina did their job on 3+ from 5 possible and that's why:

First impression was good. Really love the leather on the vamps and toes, the color, the welt.
The fur is strange, my teddy bear 40 years ago had the same. Better than on Gallways, much worse than on Santonis. Hope it's warm.

Then noticed the tough shafts. No, the appearance is good, i would say reminds me llama leather, but only till you touch it.
Being soft on the vamp and toes, the leather on the shafts feels like plastic.
I wonder why the leather there is different, was that the idea?
Is this the result of those problems with the grained leather supply? Let's see how it will age, can't wear it for another 4-5 months.

Fit is strange, definitely my size, good width, but a lot of space above the foot in the vamp plus unexpectedly low instep.
Look on the pics below, I got he NST boots on the Soller in the same size, and nothing similar. Don't believe this is because of suede on NST.

Anyway, these are good winter boots, not as warm or refined as my winter Santonis, but less expensive anyway.

    Spacey vamps

These folds on the instep remaining doesn't matter do I stay or sit.

Compare with NST boots on the Soller.

Are you kidding me? These were supposed to have commando soles not these victory soles. This was our agreement. I am beyond being pissed off, Carmina really is bullshitting here. I will be returning mine as soon as I see them. Sdolina you have no idea how slippery those soles are especially in the snow. The snow catches between those ridges and that heel becomes like a blade on the skate. it is a disaster waiting to happen I am really pissed off.

    @sdolina

Is that the Frankenstitch boot on Soller? How did you size it compared to Oscar or Rain?

Nice boot, shame about the soles. What size are these?
