Clearly very different pairs, you need both :)

Now help me understand why I need those EB bolet jodhpurs, when I bought rioja Tavistocks just last month, after seeing your photos here...

I can honestly say that you need both. Smooth calf VOAK Thorpe can be The One dress boot :). You know I have a few EG in my rotation and I'm blown away with leather quality and craftsmanship of GG over EG :nest:

Not sure I can help - my Burnhams are keeping from insta-kopping those sweet Bonafes.

My kudu Thorpes are naturally hibernating until fall/winter. But it'd be harder to rouse them until the depths of a slushy London January if they had to compete with those voak beauties. They definitely dodged a bullet.

I'd be open to having my makeup be a smooth burnished calf (if some mid brown color) and a single leather non-norvgese welt. Really would like to stick with the 946 last however.

No problem with 946. Which brown did you have in mind? Etrusco?

Would you consider aubergine, or navy?

@tdes81, I, too, am interested in a clean, brown nst without the norvegese on 946. Please include me in potential gmto.

Normally yes, however I currently have a huge brown hole in my shoe rotation. I already have a navy suede longwing and two other burgundy colored shoes, so I would really like to stick with something brown.

Would you be interested in getting the NST in burnished aubergine? Anyone else? Might do this as a single MTO if there is no interest.

These chukkas have been absolute rotation hogs over the summer. [IMG]

@ThunderMarch, I have reconsidered and I'm in! Will definitely prefer a closely cut outsole. For uppers, both Betis Castagna (preferred) or the Inca 6127 works for me. No preference for 270 or 360 chained norvegese.

Awesome, I've emailed Skoaktiebolaget so hopefully I can get some information on pricing and maybe we can even get a link made up. :) That should be 4 of us!

Looks good to me...Bolet works for me; other option would be estrusco. Can go either way on leather sole or vibram...I may lean towards vibram so that I can wear them in most conditions but defer to what group prefers.
