Yes it is, but I'm not sure it's made the exact same way as a Dover, I'm gonna have to ask the factory when they are back. But it's supposed to be so yes, they only had one person at the factory that could do it so it's a limited line.

These new CS are awesome, I already have a Doak Dover or else I would have to grab that new one.

I am really interested in that grain monk though but torn on the sizing. I am about an 8.25D US on the brannock and wear a 7.5E UK on my 606 last Dovers, 7.5D in the Alden Barrie. Should I be going with the 7.5 UK or the 7 UK you think?

I see someone already grabbed the 7.5 :(

Edit: I just checked out the 7UK in fear of missing it, if you think the 7.5 will be best let me know and we can cancel the order before it ships out.

    For the F-width folks:

Any success with going up half a size on E width, or is this inadvisable?

I can do this with GG. I normally wear UK 11.5 F but I can also wear UK 12 E. It works pretty well, but it depends on your foot of course.

That's impressive, would also like to know after you hear back from the factory. Very tempted, seems like a really great value to be had!

Done, the 7UK is on it's way. Looking forward to checking them out in person.

Can CS do MTO or GMTO on that Dover style? Would be very interested in a suede pair. Maybe polo or espresso.

Nice! The 7.5 was gone in the first couple hrs... Kind of a perfect little makeup for those of us up north. Hope its re ordered in a few different grain colours/dainite.

To answer the other Q, they do GMTO but its 10 or 12 pair I believe. Go back to when they introduced CS, and the info was in there. They have a lot of suede colours avail.

I've been seriously lusting over the EG Westminster in mahogany country calf so this should scratch the itch much closer to my budget. I wanted something to wear with trousers in the foul weather but could also work with EP chinos or denim if needed. I think they could not be more perfect.

Am I going nuts, or are fewer models being offered in 11 UK now?

Glad to see some other Carmina lasts. Any chance at foul weather grain Oscar last wingtip?

That Hove make-up is awesome! And I like the solution that Carlos Santos use, imitating a split toe with the handmade decoration stitch, nice way to make production more simple and keep the price down, but still get a similar look to a hand stitched split toe.
