Requesting that the new WAYWT thread also start with Eason.

Also, I'm still getting these pop-ups that will either redirect me to a game in the iphone store or inquire about my competency at the game of poker.

Interesting. On my mobile all the ads when they occur are still for Toyota. :/

There's like 20 of them in MC alone. Imagine the void that would leave -- we might have to discuss things instead of just buying things and showing pictures of the things we bought.

Screenshot, and if possible, a URL, please? That helps us track down rogue ads.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I've reported this. I think that it is a software issue, not a thread size issue. But we'll see! It's pretty important, and should be addressed ASAP.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

So, just got a note that after 45000 posts, a thread can become unstable. A solution is being explored, but there is no need for a 100K post thread anyway. So... I'll lock that and start a new one in a bit.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I noticed Style Forum does not have a Wikipedia page. It should.

    Two things:

    1) In stitches is being deputized as a SPAM mod, for that sole purpose. We are looking into others as well. The sole duty is to spamminate.

    2) We are implementing a beta solution for the thread pagination problem. You may experience a few minutes of downtime.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I think there are sufficient third-party references to meet the criteria for Wikipedia. (Plus, what Stitchy said.)

Any Wiki page for StyleForum should include a summary of various threak controversies.

On the right it should have under "Key People" me, of course.

Sorry, I don't know how to do any of that fancy stuff on my phone. :embar:

I just mentioned these two because they remove you from normal browsing or require you to click a 'yes' or 'no' button to return, which I understand might be used to OK some nefarious code. The poker one was just a gray floating box that hovered over my safari. I guess I've had the app store redirect for awhile with no consequences.

this is definitely a job for stitchy, who in his short time here seems to have absorbed every moment of SF history. Of course, it could turn out to be longer than the Durants (no, not Kevin).

Are you looking for a more elaborate description than the one on Urban Dicktionary?
