    Appreciate all the input.

Have discovered that some of the same Nanimarquina rugs are actually available from other e-tailers at lower prices than Yoox's. I'm not used to that from clothes... plus, Yoox discount codes/promos never seem to discount anything from the design+art section...

@Parker, I read a write-up on Faig Ahmed in a Lufthansa magazine recently. Interesting/weird as art, impractical as rugs though (and I don't even want to know the prices).

If you looking for a lightweight insulator, try the Veilance Mionn. Slim fit and water and wind replant fabric

Little design flourishes on a classic frame shape don't usually look good. Just me tho, whatever floats your boat

rug talk: I bought a large and at least supposedly old persian rug on ebay and I'd do it again. look for words like ANTIQUE, PERSIAN, and rug-creating towns like QOM, and you have to sort through a lot, but there are great looking rugs there.

It is a very plain black coat. The blackness emphasizes how flat and shapeless the whole thing looks. I imagine you can find something form Uniqlo for 1/4 the price. It's ubiquitous looking coat and nothing special about it. You may think differently. In which case who cares what we think then.

I don't have a Charles coat but do have a Garret also by Acne and trust me you won't find something similar in Uniqlo. But I'm also one of those who never really understood the fascination with Uniqlo in this forum, I got them at the same tier as Zara or H&M.

And Charles is far from an ubiquitous looking coat IMO, has a pretty weird look/fit.

The pictures you've posted of that coat make it impossible for us to tell how it actually looks.

Officine Creative. Remember seeing an actual on foot picture and they looked good but can't find it. Hesitating because final sale and don't want to have to go back on Grailed as a seller

i had an acne charles (tried all sizes at the store and they said most people size down one or sometimes two) and i agree with nahneun, the unstructured cut combined with the soft droopy material is pretty unflattering on most people. shoulders look limp, and the excess around the waist flares out. also the material is pretty lightweight so won't actually do much to keep you warm, if that's a consideration.
