Pair of Dries trousers on Grailed are marked as 42, seller claims they fit like a US 32. What do you guys make of this?

I like it, but the print isn't that different from brands you could buy at a much lower price (if that matters to you at all).

a 42 is a women's size though. it'd be a US 26 normally. ask for measurements for sure. might just be super oversized

Price does matter and I am price/ value conscious. I don't understand Visvim's pricing, but I am seeing this piece offered at a similar price to what a Gitman Vintage or Epaulet shirt would retail for. Maybe those prices are too high as well.

    What alternatives do you recommend?

Gitman Vintage/ Epaulet prices don't seem bad. Those are like $200? Seems like a good deal at that price. I thought you were looking at it in terms of Visvim's usual ~$500 for a button-up.

Far from an Aloha shirt expert, but that sort of print seems like the sort of thing you'd see anywhere (don't mean that in a bad way). @shoreman1782 would probably have a better idea of what else might be good. I've only recently started wearing Aloha shirts.

Actually, the price ended up being $169 so I pulled the trigger. I don't have anything comparable and the Niche floral shirt from NMWA (which I was interested in for this purpose) had already sold out in my size.

I probably have about a half dozen Visvim things by now, all acquired between 70% and 80% off retail. Even at those discounted prices, I barely see value. I just don't get what makes Visvim special, not that I am doubting that it is.

You guys want black derby shoes still?

Can we just put together a SW&D group order and contact No Man Walks Alone about a project with Vass?

I'm guessing CM don't care for plain toe derbies as much. Also $$$

Is this liquor talking or a lovely shirt?

Thinking of purchasing this and sizing up one for a loose, relaxing, summery fit. If I did, what shoes would go well? Birks? Low profile trainers?
