@accordion cop both. Wear separate. I think Virgil's would look weird. ACRNM is best with sneakers, combat boots could work, but what do I know.

i think they'd look good together. the dark brown looks cooler to me, but that could be because my wardrobe would look better with them than black

Anyone have anything to say about Royal Republiq boots? How they fit, etc?

They look like the shoes I used to have to wear to school. You should be able to do dozens just like it at any department store.

Looks really cool to me. No experience with that brand though. I've got some Nike's with snap button adjustment, never use it because it looks weird open, always just leave them closed.

Seems like the kind of brand you'd be into actually. Heavy on the tech fabrics and details, fashion sportswear type of stuff. I've got a handle of things from them (bombers, coats, sweats etc) and get a lot of wear out of everything.

A lot of their stuff is jasmine scented, even when it doesn't explicitly say so. It also seems like they put the jasmine scent on everything that has any kind of waterproofing membrane.

Interesting, I don't think the pieces I saw were. Does it last long, or after a wash?

It's hard to say. Most of my stuff is outerwear so doesn't get washed much if at all. I have one pair of pants with it but I've never washed them (waterproof, self cleaning). They all still have the scent but it's never been strong. You have to really take a big whiff and it's just a faint aroma. Like the Ma-1 I have is jasmine scented and even though it's right near my face I've never just caught a whiff of jasmine when I've been wearing it, I have a hoody with a built in balaclava and I can smell it on that but it's literally right on my nose.

Sounds like a cool little feature, do other brands do this? Sometimes things I order smell amazing for the first couple days, but I just assumed that was a combo of new clothes smell and/or the shop burns incense.

Those reeboks are pretty meh. I'd pass

black derby shoes: Alden makes some that I'll vouch for.

Horween or not, those are giving off strong orthopedic vibes. I'd go for ETQ runners or hunt down Reebok's collaboration with Garbstore instead.

You know, somewhere on the internet is a men's clothing forum that rejects sneakers unless they resemble orthopedic shoes. They then compliment the footwear with "that's so ortho!"
