funny yellow kangaroo pockets on that Folk jacket.
Dries shoes are sorta meh. ok I guess.

but I like Junya stuff with all the crazy pockets and cheap sneakers, so take with grain of salt.

@accordion No on sneakers. If Dries, buy a tee or conceptual4rest pants or something - flower power. For those, just buy some Converse or Vans or something. They are underwhelming.

I'm new to The Soloist. Any opinions? Would be pairing with black IE or LUC pants and not really sure what shirt underneath but probably a black T.

    Thanks.

Edit: pocket placement throws me off a little bit.

    Another pic unbuttoned, collar up.

It should work with what you are planning to wear it with but I personally don't like it. Too much of an old bag look for my liking.

I hear that. It'll be a tiny bit tight on me from the measurements. I like the frayed look, and the material looks pretty rad.

It's a sick piece but I wouldn't style it the way you said. Check out images of the soloist for some more creative ideas.

If you're that much on the fence the answer is probably no anyway. I love the soloist but it seems like you're trying to talk yourself into it.

I'd pass on that soloist piece alex. I think individually Soloist pieces are very attractive, but then you get them and it's kinda like... now what? Some people do it very well but personally for me I think Soloist looks best almost all out hobo

I'm just looking for an opinion on the piece. I like it. But I've never owned any of his pieces. Seems like it's fit in to the aeathetic I'm after.

Edit: that was for Pickpack. Thanks for your comments. Might pass on it but I hear you all.

If it fits the bill then grab it. Construction is great on his stuff and it's totally unique.

The plimsolls are fine, fine. But please don't buy them because Dries Van Noten is stamped on the insole, or because they're 150 down from 520.

    - - -

To hell with this thread though, who am I to decide what you should or shouldn't buy ? Were it up to me, 100% of the stuff posted here would fall in the "shouldn't " category, if you need to ask for other people's opinions to validate your purchase chances are you're going about it the wrong way (inquiries about an item's quality or fit etc aside, although that too is problematic). I don't know you, don't ask me to choose for you because you're too lazy to reflect on how you want to dress and why you want to dress that way. If you can't give enough of a fuck why should I ?
