I replied to you on SZ, but I forgot to mention my impressions with the gloved lining: For the most part I just had the lining rest over my hand like another layer. Just slip your thumb out and push it up a little; it won't swallow your hand up.

You might already know this, but that one isn't the iconic IS gloved blazer. Which is seen here:

A bit rougher with patch pockets, a single closure point, and no chest pocket. There is the JK1 (as above pic) with the button closure from '09 A/W onwards, and the predecessor the 3F from the initial season '08 A/W which had a small hook closure where the button would be in later models.

How about penny loafers? I reckon they have fallen out of place among this community? How come? I remember when I joined they're everywhere.

I'm not that wild about the check pattern, but you may be able to make it work.

Try the Classic Menswear side of the forum.

^ I see what you mean. I was just wondering how did they fall out of favor here.

Prep influence has been on the wane for a few years now. The cool Lauren now is Greg Lauren.

Thanks for the info! That's what I was hoping the lining would do. I did notice that this is a slightly different version of the blazer, which is fine by me :) I actually prefer the extra fasten point to keep the jacket closed for a variety of ways to wear

I still haven't figured out how to work those IS buttons/strings. They need to come out with an instructional video or something.

I've only seen it in the brown and the black. k's clothing has the black gloved version, and fascinate has a few versions without gloves.

Cant buy from fascinate. They refuse to markdown and UK's VAT is astounding -_-

Pity though, I like their buys

Is that just textured leather or is it actually woven? Anyways I like them.

I'd say Raf. Though Hare is pretty solid too
