I really like those derbies. Let me know if they're off 50 somewhere too lol. (Although we are the same size)

You could totally wear both shoes with a suit, since you're a young lad who likes aggressive clothing (yeah that sounded weird).

But I have a feeling the side zips will work better as an everyday shoe. You can't beat the feeling of slipping on some boots real quick before you rush out the door.

    That said, get them both.

Whataya guys think about this Herning? I liked it on the Reference with the break in the middle and shoulders, but I'm thinking this looks too busy and almost like a stack of dog bones piled up.

Ugh I freaking wish, missed them on Gilt a year or so ago for $220...So stupid

Ha I actually just missed them on sense for 70% off, they sold out really fast

Yea, I love the convenience/utility of sidezips, and I always feel damn cool wearing a pair...they're definitely front runners

    Does Edmonds have a derby?

I'm not a fan of AE derbies. They're kinda stubby, but I guess they're alright if you need to fill a gap. Paul Smith, on the other hand, makes some great derbies that usually go on sale for around 200ish.

edit: actually from a quick search of my usual sources, the internet's selection of PS derbies seems to blow this year. nevermind.

Reedo will probably forget about us in sw&d after he becomes a lawyer and goes over to MC section.

Thinking I need to get a couple pullover knits. Prob start with this, what you think? Only thing in thinking it might be too lightweight.

^was considering that knit as well. Couldn't really justify spending 550 dollarydoos on it though.

A question for those of you who live in Los Angeles - what blazers are good for regular rotation at least most of the year (especially summer)? I was recently looking at Acne, EG, Ervell blazers (not interested in H&M, Uniqlo etc.) but not sure how comfortable they'd be. I'm guessing a knit blazer in linen ala Collina would do well? Recommendations appreciated.

Nah Collina is too thick you should look elsewhere

I've considered SNS but I think it's actually a bit too thick for the warmer months. Was looking at this Collina piece which is 96% linen 4% nylon...
