    Reversible Digi-Camo TOJ1 2011

    OR

    TOJ0 Black/Black

    ----

Spotted a used TOJ1 2011 in my size for about the same price as a new TOJ0. I like the reversibility and the DigiCamo print but would probably wear it with the black/black side out 70% of the time... I also like the Raglan sleeves. But I generally feel jackets zippered down the middle make me look stockier/shorter (I am 5'5" 137lbs ) and buttoned jackets are a bit more flattering. I like the pocket detailing more on the TOJ0 too. And the TOJ1 might be a little long in the arms/body for me by an inch or so, while I'd consider getting the TOJ0 with 44 sleeve legnths. Thoughts?

    Toj0. No question.

Also go farmer's jacket. There was a 52 or something on b&s for cheap not too long ago

As the world scrambles for its next too-tight ToJ, I'm considering sunglasses. Guys: clear frames:

Moscot, Oliver Peoples Riley or O'Malley, or...

... alternatives? I know nothing about these. Are expensive frames really worth it? Because exempting the dirt cheap variety, I'm having a hard time distinguishing everything made by Luxottica from everything else made by Luxottica. I'm just after some clear frames in that nice vintage shape, is all. Thanks.

Don't let the zipper deter you. I've got the anniversary varsity as well as the t0j1, and one does not make me look any bulkier than the other. That said, it might be easier to grab a used toj1 later on than a new 0 in that colorway.

I had a pair of clear Rileys that I flipped because the frame was too thin and lenses too small to block the sun effectively. If I were you I would pick one of the heavier frames from Oliver Peoples, such as the Peck or the Sheldrake. Moscot also makes a similar model called the Miltzen that looks nice.

I'm actually planning to buy a pair of Shuron Freeways or Sidewinders this summer:

Thanks, I hadn't considered sun leaks or frailty. Those are some good ideas -- I just wish the retail on the OPs wasn't north of $350. :fu:
