If the Heritage line is indeed their series on the 137 last then the Dub Monk model is the Burghley. I posted a few [admittedly bad] pictures of mine [after a few wearings] quite a few pages back.

    Link to the post here.

I'm not a photographer so I'm sure I made the shoe look bad, but you can request detail shots and I'll do my best to fulfill them.

One more decent shine post from the "shoe care" thread. During my Friday afternoon conference calls, I multi-task from my home office. This was a couple of months ago. RM Williams Craftsman in chestnut yearling. Plain ole brown Kiwi wax.

Meet my new friends, Mr. Cadogan and Ms. Chelsea Green.

Tonight will be spent polishing! Which begs the question: which one should I wear tomorrow??

Very nice. I have a pair with silver buckles but I like how the gold looks. One annoying consideration with buckled shoes is the need for same colored belt and buckle. I had a hell of a time finding a pebbled tan belt with a gold buckle to match my buffalo tan monks

I had the same exact thought, so got this

A little too much matching but it's fine.....

^ that's some serious coin for a belt but you don't have many options. A silver buckle would look awkward

I don't think this is necessary.

the belt buckle is quite far away from the buckle of one's shoes. That's a lot of matching. Although I DO approve of BOTH purchases... nice.

Of course it depends on what you are wearing but its much easier to have a matching belt. For example, business casual: navy slacks, ocbd, buffalo tan (gold buckle) monks. Belt?

This is the reason why I would have to have silver buckles, I do not like brass buckles on my belts.

The matching belt on Mr. P is $435.

Pair the "equestrian" double monks (born quoting the buckles of riding boots) with bridle belts is fine,
