    - Yes, indeed. But my 1st choice of (EG) split-toe shoes would still be in burgundy as I have for a long time longed for a pair of "wheels" in that colour.
    - I need that colour in my collection, just like I need a pair of split-toes/dovers...

i see, yes burgundy either in different shades is a very versatile colour in my book.

i love my norwegers, too [IMG] though none in burgundy, SG has a nice pair in this colour.

Thats the grail shoe right now, Sri. But Tom is sold out and thats 4 figure territory anyway, which I cant handle.... yet. [IMG]

Have you talked to Ron (Riderboot)? He can probably make a MTO pair for you in your budget. He is a fantastic guy to deal with and I say this from personal experience.

    teh green ones I do.

Shoes should be black, brown (tans included), burgundy, or white. Can't recall seeing an exception yet that I liked.

i haven't pictured them atm. but i think i did. i do like most of RJ's custom made shoes.

i don't have a straight line in my shoe taste. sure, i have my preferences, oh well.

despite the shape, the worst for me is, when a shoe cries machine made in capital letters. fwiw, most of the NH stuff does it...

    Inconceivable.

not exactly facepalming, though the shape is sort of weird. the colour is beautiful.

the dover, despite his apron stitch, is a very good example of crying out loud: machine made, period
