    I voted for the Ph. D. even though I am a couple of years away from the hooding ceremony.

    But it's OK. I've got two MAs and a BA. There was a time when each was a goal and a few contingencies away.

    Barbers were doctors. The red stripes on the barber pole signify the blood which was let in the name of healing.


    Surgeons but not Doctors (who were physicians). In the UK, Australia and New Zealand surgeons call themselves Mr rather than Dr.

    OK, truth is I am in my last year of PhD (hopefully) so you cannot rule out the possibility that I drop out one day. Still, I put "PhD".

    I have been in my last year of PhD for for the past 3 years. [​IMG] I hope to be done this fall.
