I plan to crush you both with my superiorly balanced team.

And Slim, that was not really what I meant by proven slugger HR/RBI guy, nice season though he may be having so far.

It was worth a look. Any interest outside of Pujols and A-rod?

Feel free to crush both of us. I'd appreciate if you would crush Steve more though.

    Alexei-yes GOOD Move

Aramis who went on the DL for at least 2 months I dropped altogether. He was ssnapped up by Ghulkhan's home for wayward toys, and may become a factor in the playoffs- DUMB move

Trading Trevor Hoffman for Ryan Theriot- SBs for Steals. Pretty even.

Haha home for wayward toys - I like that. Yeah I had 4 or 5 inactive players at one point, but I think they'll pay off. The rest of my team is good enough to get me to the playoffs.

I do hate how we only have 1 DL spot, though. Most other leagues have 3.

Which of you idiots dropped Dye? He's been on a tear.

You should beat me. So far I've made one good move and three bone-headed ones. Figured you were getting too far behind and needed a hand up.

You are forgetting the what... five or six times I've failed to start my pitching?
I see you are trying to make it up though.

I figure that while Garza has had some really good games this year, he's usually on my bench for them, so its not like I've been riding him anyways. [IMG]

Not really. Pretty much all of your power is coming from those two guys and I doubt you're interested in trading them for pitching.

Hey, about 1/3 of my power is coming from Russel Branyan. [IMG]
Don't forget that he's going to bat .300 and hit 40 HR's this year.

I guy from my other league tried to feed me that, but I think he was serious. [IMG]

Having David Price for the playoffs FTW!

I will probably not lose the strikeouts category for the rest of the year.

Hey, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. He's never been a full time starter, so nobody really knows how he's going to hold up over a whole season. Being a pinch hitter his entire career didn't do him any favors, thats for sure - but with 400 or so at bats and hitting every day, I think he will offer pretty good power and a high .200's average.

He has a ton of power, and is looking pretty disciplined at the plate, from what I can tell. .which is refreshing on a team who swings at damn near everything. [IMG]

I have him too in my other league.

    I bet he gets 30 and 90 and .276

I'd take that from a waiver pickup any day. I don't know about the RBI's though. With the people currently batting in front of him, I dont expect much... [IMG]

    I'm likin Asdrubal Cabrera.

And Wandy's a pretty good pickup for you even though he got shelled his last 2 starts.
