right now we have 12 teams... do u want me to increase the teams to 14 in case someone else wants to play? let me know

The draft order will be randomly determined approximately 30 minutes before the draft begins.

I think we are good at twelve.
There really isn't enough time to be changing things now. [IMG]

One more thing... if you are drafting tommorow

MAKE SURE YOU TEST YOUR COMPUTER TO MAKE SURE THE DRAFT APPLICATION WORKS FOR YOU.

IF NOT, YAHOO PROVIDES INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO INSTALL JAVA OR WHATEVER IS NEEDED.

Rule number one in fantasy baseball:

Never draft a Mets closer. EVER.

    Yah... 12 teams is good

As long as there are not 8 or 10 teams. Those leagues are too small and everyone ends up with some freakish team with like Albert Pujols, Teixeira and Ryan Howard on the same team (you get the idea). I hate leagues like that.

I can't believe I picked Wagner. [IMG] He is already on waivers. C - Chris Iannetta 1B - Albert Pujols 2B - Mike Aviles(2B, SS), Jose Lopez (2B, 1B), Kaz Matsui SS - J.J. Hardy, 3B - Alex Rodriguez, Mike Lowell OF - Bobby Abreu, Jermaine Dye, Mark DeRosa(2B,3B,OF), Ryan Church SP - Brandon Webb, Jake Peavy, Cole Hamels, Brandon Morrow(SP,RP), Matt Garza, Ian Snell RP - Brian Wilson, Hong-Chih Kuo, accidental pick of Billy Wagner w 21st round pick. Will replace him. Also going to replace one other pitcher. Forgot about someone. Need to grab him.

See... even I don't follow my own rules. Prepare yourself for week 11 Steve. We only play once this year during the regular season.

I will be. Perhaps (a very big perhaps) I may win this time.

    Mine:

    1B- Cabrera
    2B- Alexei Ramirez 2B,SS, OF, O. Hudson
    SS- Tulowitzki
    3B- A. Ramirez
    OF- C. Quentin, R. Ibanez, N. Cruz, C. Maybin
    Util- Cantu (1B, 3B)
    C- B. Molina, Shoppach

P- Sabbathia, C. Lee, Vazquez, Nolasco, Meche, U. Jimenez
    Save Dudes- Valverde, Hoffman, Bell

    From earlier this AM

    Texeira 1B
    Uggla 2B
    Rollins SS
    Huff 1B, 3B
    Guerrero, Cruz, Ichiro OF
Util Carlos Pena 1B, Jose Lopez 1B, 2B, F. Lopez 2B, SS, 3B, OF (the Fantasy Swiss Army knife)

P- Peavy, Cliff Lee, Shields, Slowey, Saunders
    RP- Papelbon, Broxton, Hoffman

    Keeper League

    1B Delgado
    2B Uggla, F. Sanchez
    SS Reyes
    3B Wright, J. Lowrie (3B, SS)
RF Cruz, R. Winn (LF, CF, RF)
    CF McLouth
    LF Ibanez
    IF M. Jacobs
    Util D. Ortiz

P- Haren, Lackey, Duscherer, Kazmir, Bedard, Kuroda, Cook
    RP- Qualls, B. Wison

Go ahead, Slim. Ridicule me. My keeper league team needs some serious waiver work. But I drafted that poorly last year, and still won by 20 games and pocketed $300.

You smell as funny as you look. How was that? More?
I hope you are counting on having CC benched for a month or two to start the season, he doesn't warm up until June or so... I think Lee is going to come back down to earth this year. I like Nolasco a lot. Meche is meh. Jiminez is Meh. I'm not sure how I feel about Vazquez right now. I think I got you whupped already, and the season hasn't even started yet. I guess we'll see.

My sincerest apologies, I got stuck at the beach and missed the draft. How'd I do?

I think you did... ok. Your pitching is pretty iffy though. You have a high risk team in my opinion. Are you ready to lose your first game? It cracks me up that I was able to snag Pujols, A-Rod, Webb, Peavy, and Hamels. How does that even happen?

Shall we go through a comparison of our teams position by position, just for our fans?

If you want, I have a soccer game to go watch at J's house. I can catch up later. I want to know what people think the steal and reach of the draft was? Everyone chime in! I am pretty sure that Matt Wieters went too early at the 10th pick in the 11th round. Especially since I picked Iannetta up in the next round, and he is a starting MLB catcher, which Wieters is not. I think Xavier Nady with the 1st pick of the 13th round is an excellent value. Especially since I was all amped up to take him with the 2nd pick in the 13th round. As funny as it is to mock, Lastings Millege was a bargain in the 14th too. Who else... Chris Carpenter in the 16th was good. Anything else?
