Ok fellas...it looks like the league is filling up nicely. We need to decide if we want to play for stakes or jsut make it a "free" league with members just apying the fees for an stat service and trading interface etc.

Thoughts?

I'm all for making this interesting, say $100 a team plus expenses with the top three finishing teams cashing.

I would like to be in if there is any room left. It sounds like you have twelve but if you need to replace the one I am in.

I'll play for $100 or I'd be happy to make it free if the $ keeps people from wanting to play.

I'm in for cash, also would dig having more than 12 owners.

Do we go Trad (avg, RBI) or streetwear (obp, TB)? Maybe a blend so we don't give either camp an unfair advantage

I'd vote for the standard 5x5 league. American league hitting rules and 3 SP and 2 CP. 6 - 8 bench spots.

I've been playing the original 4 x 4 roto in the same league forever, so I'm not even sure what the 5th category for hitters is (it's K's for pitchers, right?). I also like the standard 23 man roster:

9 P
2 C
1B
2B
SS
3B
MI
CI
5 OF
1 UT (DH only qualify here)
20 games the previous year for position eligibility. 5 games in-season for new position eligibility.

Auction or draft? I've always done the former but it takes all day, so draft would probably work better for us. I'd be down to do more sabermetric categories to make this league different than my other one - OBP, SLG, HR, RBI, SB for offense stats.

Perhaps Mr. Kabbaz would like to sponsor me?

I'd have to save up for like three weeks.
