11 teams left or I can expand if need be:

    League Name:

    StyleForumLeague

    Password:

    Tweed

    on Yahoo of course

Check the settings and draft time chosen. If you want to change the settings or particularly the draft let me know. Spots are filling up fast.

Also- what are thoughts about playing for money or some kind of prize? I think Andrew kinda got gypped last year.

    What a newb.

Steve... you can't join a Yahoo league without the league ID NUMBER.

It tells you that and actually gives you an invite link. Feel like posting it so we can all join?

I decided not to leave anything to chance. Steve is computer-tarded. He can't even find files he downloads onto his computer. I vote no confidence in his commish skills. League ID: 138289 Password: style CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP

How did you change the password?

    Thank you for your help.

If you'd gotten off your lazy bony little ass we'd have had this weeks ago.

I will now crush you like the gnat you are.

I didn't change the password. I made a new league. It takes like ten seconds. Abandon your weak ass-league and join the dark side. How would I have been thinking about this weeks ago? You just mentioned it TODAY numb-nuts.

Now I need to know how you guys want to do scoring, and when you want to live draft.

The earlier we set a draft day the better, so lets pick something and mark your calendars.Once we decide on something... no excuses. Late comers don't get any say. I'd say we decide on a draft time before Friday. That should give you businesspeople time enough to check with your secretaries for an open saturday afternoon.

^^ Can't you two just make peace for once and agree on league settings + rules?

I will hold out till then.

Actually I'm going to withdraw. I don't like the team set-up, the draft system, and especially the scoring system. It's nothing but head to head roto.
We haven't decided on anything yet you big baby. Stop your bitching and make a suggestion. Or take your ball and go home a 4x loser to me. Either way.

See my PM box being empty until today. See post 270 being written three days ago. Which I didn't see until you PMed me today. See post 264 not being addressed to anyone in particular, not being specific in the slightest, and it also being at the beginning of January, when it was still Football season. See your point being moot.

Don't talk to ME about peace. I'm not the liberal, ex-hippie Utopian who throws fits whenever it looks like he might not get his way... I would love to agree on settings and rules. But if nobody makes any suggestions, its pretty hard to agree... I am tempted to give Steve whatever he wants, rule wise - just so he has no more excuses left at the end of the year. (when he finishes below me in the standings yet again) The only problem is, he plays with stupid rules, and wants head to head, which makes absolutely no sense to me for a sport played every day like baseball. It sucks all the fun out of it IMO to play that way. So everyone else is going to have to also agree to play by Steve's stupid rules as well. I will eagerly await rule, formatting, and draft date/time suggestions from those in the league. If you don't sign up, you have no say. I'm not going to chase my tail for people who won't even commit to sign up until everything is decided, and then want to be taken into account.

Any numb nuts like you can play Roto.

Whacked- I thought you'd figured out by now Slim and I have elevated cyber-smack to an art. That's all it is really. If I ever visited his rainy nasty city again I'd buy him a beer. If he's over 21.

Here are my suggestions for stats:

    Hitters:

    2B, 3B, R, H, AVG, SB, HR, RBI, OBP

    Pitchers:

IP, W, L, SV, ERA, K/9, HLD, WHIP, QS

I can do the draft any day but the 20th and 21st.

    I'm in.

I like the standard 5x5 scoring but I'm open to other suggestions.

As for the draft, I can do any weekend in March except the 29th-30th.

Can I join with two conditions implicit?

    1. If I can't make the draft, I quit.
    2. I am going to lose, badly.

I invited an outsider. Her brothers, who I usually play with, decided not to have a league this year for some reason. She may come introduce herself... or maybe not.

Hope nobody minds. Not that I care. I'm the damn Commish, I DO WHAT I WANT!!!

Lets decide on a draft date now... so you won't have this problem. The not making the draft thing, not the sucking thing.

I heartily dispute this. How is playing against one person on one day more skillful than playing against everyone, every day? You always bring out this tired ass argument, and you are always wrong. With H2H you see things like we saw in football this year, where people with mediocre teams finished ahead of people who outscored them by a significant amount*, just because of the fact that the W/L column said they were better. Head to head is the luck of the draw every week, and relies much less on the merit of your "skill" than a pure top points league. Head to head is for people who rely on luck, not skill. *and yes, I am talking about myself. I really shouldn't have finished sixth or whatever I ended up at. I caught a good string of luck. I had like the fourth fewest points out of anyone in the league at the end of the season or something like that. In a roto league, my "skill" would have landed me at number 8 or so, instead of number 6. And you would have beaten me. Too bad, so sad. Didn't go down that way, did it? Edit: scratch that, I just checked. I would have been 5th and you would have been second to last. Now I see why you want H2H. It covers up your woeful inadequacies as a fantasy sportsman, and levels the playing field, bringing everyone else down to your level and giving you a "chance to compete".
