SOTE - TF Tobacco Vanille - trying a sample of this for the first time...it starts open a strong cigar tobacco...but dries down into kind a mild tobacco with that sweet vanilla.....honestly I think it smells a little bit like dr. pepper or vanilla coke. Any one else feel this way??

No idea what I wore today. I've worn the scent before, but I have no idea what it's called and the sample atomizer is unlabeled.

Great fragrance isn't it? I just emptied my decant the other night.

Today for me, Neroli Portofino Eau Fraiche-- I thought this would be like aftershave strength, but in fact it has very nice projection and longevity.

    Tonight, Le Labo/Anthropologie Orange Discrete

Never tried Cuiron. Christ, how long was it out - two years?? Now it's being sold at outrageous prices.

What do you think about Orange Discrete? I have it in solid form.

I sold my bottle of Cuiron years ago - it gave me a headache. It was plum and leather but there was a very sharp note up top that I couldn't tolerate.

SOTD: Aqua Sextius by Jul et Mad. This is their newest scent. I'm a big fan of this brand, although not a big fan of their prices. This one is a bright, aquatic summery scent, but it's also quite complex. For starters, I'd say it's reminiscent of Womanity with its salty marine and fig notes. But it opens up with a bright, ripe citrus that isn't there in Womanity. Aqua Sextius also has some facets you wouldn't expect in a summery marine scent. There are some aromatic notes that emerge in the middle, but also a fairly dense, heavy amber. I think this is my least favorite of Jul et Mad's four scents, but that's mainly because I'm not generally a fan of scents in this genre. It's definitely well done for what it is.
