Today: Amouage Epic Man - fantastic stuff. The red peppercorn is definitely there in the beginning and then exits within thirty minutes. An olfactory journey, it is.

When I was coming up everone was all like "You don't have what it takes to wear Une Rose Vermeille fragrance!" Well today I am proving all the h8ers wrong (wearing Une Rose Vermeille).

I bet you don't have what it takes to wear five sprays of Kolnisch Juchten. Prove me wrong, mofo!

Indeed, it is.

This evening: Odeur 71 - what a fun fragrance this is. Despite the crazy-ass notes provided by Comme des Garcons it's got this green stemmy floralness that reminds me of Givenchy's Insense.

I wear 900 a lot but it doesn't seem all the "70's" to me, especially compared to Paco Rabanne or Azarro PH. I want to get a bottle of Aromatics Elixir, which is supposedly the same fragrance but in an edp formulation and marketed to women. I've smelled it and it is indeed very similar.

I've actually been wearing Geranium PM body lotion for the past few days and the smell is quite strong. Now I did cover my whole body in the stuff but it's still smellable hours later. Finishing off the bottle so have been and will continue to wear this for the next few days methinks.

Snowing to beat hell again here, today.
So I reach again for ELDO Eloge du Traitre: pine, sage, absinthe, bay and musk. Tangy, bitter, oily.
Didn't care for it on first try, but like it more each wearing.

Guys, thought you might like this. Cross-post from the Thrift thread:

I've had no luck on the menswear front lately, but I did have a big find yesterday with some vintage fragrances. More than twenty vintage and discontinued fragrances, many of them unopened. Mostly Diors, but also a few Art Deco and other rarities. My perfumista buddies have said this is a serious score. I won't clog the thread up with OT pictures, but here's a list. Happy to add pics if anyone's interested.

Vintage Diors

2 full bottles Miss Dior
2 full bottles Dioressence
Full bottle Diorissimo
2 Addict, trace left in each

Deco Stuff

Full Christy Eau de Cologne, big bottle, in box
Tori Kosui, Japanese scent I can't find out much about
Millot Crepe de Chine mini, in box
Yardley Bond Street mini, in box

Other Collectible Vintages

Madam Rochas pure parfum
Full bottle Lanvin Arpege
Used bottle Lanvin Arpege perfume, different vintage to above
Four used bottles of Cacharel Eau d'Eden. Two turned out to be empty, sadly.
Used Floris Jasmine, in box
Used Juvena Nitchevo, in box

Other Stuff

Used YSL Jazz
Used Dali Laguna
Used Givenchy Ysatis
Full Stella Maccartney LILY
Guerlain Air de Samsara sample
