That makes sense, the bottles are 125 ml - but I'd heard from a German fellow that they sell 1 liter bottles of Knize Ten. One LITER.

Luckyscent sells a 50 ml bottle. I really wish that there were commonly available 0.5 or 1 oz bottles priced to reflect that sizing, but I suppose that doesn't work with the business model. Though I'd surely spend a lot more money if there were.

Thomas Civet!!!!!

Which puts a new spin on my stinky running shorts. It's probably time to retire a few pairs.

Years back I'd read where some niche brands were experimenting with that size - notably Tauer and Le Labo - but acceptance has been slow going probably because the $/ml ratio is kind of harsh.

+1. Its not bottle worthy but I'd like to get a decant some day.

I'm pretty sure I got my sample of that from you. I've gotten so many fragrances from you that it's hard to keep track!

DIa Man this morning. It's like an airport toilet stall recently occupied by a sweaty arab.

This afternoon: Bois D'argent.

Today: L'Artisan Al Aoud. I really like this one and have been vacillating on purchasing this for a while. It's high quality oud incense combined with a smell that is best described as a pastry with dried fruits that have been cooked and caramelized on the bottom surface.

That sounds absolutely lovely. Do you get anything animalic in it? I was sampling other stuff when I tried this, but I thought it had a pretty pissy note in it.

Nothing pissy. No. See, I've got three cats who's piss smells just like the eucalyptus trees in the Bay Area, so that's what I think about when I hear "piss".

I recently bought a full bottle of Al Oudh. I like it very much. To me, the part that HORNS describes as dried fruits smells a lot like dates. FWIW, I don't get anything pissy at all from it.

I brought Oud 27 with me today because I only sprayed Al Aoudh on my wrist and it disappeared by around three o'clock.

That's a good descriptor - dried dates.

This is one of the scents I sampled at Barneys on Sunday. I remember it being among the more interesting ones that I smelled, though I didn't spend a whole lot of time with it.

It smells different every time I've worn it so far, and changes dramatically throughout the day. I'm enjoying it a lot so far. Just FYI I have some left to split if interested.
