My pre-shower scent was Tam Dao by Diptyque. It has a sandalwood smell to it that cannot be denied.

I was under the impression these guys had huge fragrance (bottle) collections, just like on BN forum. Seems like most are samples/decants they are mostly using.

I'm surprised I haven't tried this one yet, myself.

This evening: Rien. I'm kind of perturbed because right after I sprayed it, a bottle of Sonoma Scent Studio's Incense Pure came in the mail.

Yeah... Me too, however a few hundred of either seems like a lot to me.

    Cheers

I'm wearing M7. I've had this decant forever and never wear it. I realize now that it's because I don't really love this one. Kinda cough syrupy. It has it's charms, but it's not for me.

What is your impression on this? I have been trying to get a sample for ages just to try it out. I am not too fond of Duro though....

don't get me wrong, even with 2-3 banker boxes of bottles, I still have a pretty substantial decant collection. White tops with clear caps are 10ml, silver caps are 30ml's, divisions are categories/families... and this is a just an artificial limit so I don't overstock...

just counted and looks like 45-50 x10ml, and aroundn 40 x30ml

It is complex with oud, coffee, tobacco and incense but it smells like burnt tires to me and a little goes a long way.

Burnt tires- is it something like Bulgary Black but without the synthetic screech?

Seems like a respectable collection. I might buy samples in the future aswell before ending up with fragrances, that will grow boring to my everlastingly changing taste palette.

Wonderoud today, anybody else have any opinions on it? I can't exactly remember what wonderwood smells like, but this smells fairly nice, a touch of oud on top

I am wearing Rocabar as my SOTE. If anyone says they don't like this, they should be stricken from the rolls of Styleforum website.

I go for swaps and decants a lot, but I also buy used bottles and so on from eBay and markets. I have far more than I need, and should do a cull.

Without the synthetic mess and sweetness. You have the added complexity of bitter coffee and oud.
