SOTE is Eau d'Orange Verte. I've owned this forever, but I've never been a big fan. It's probably been a year since I've worn it. I'm enjoying it a bit more than usual tonight.

Also, not sure if you guys heard about this, but L'Artisan Parfumeur is bringing Tea for Two back onto the market.

Also L'Eau de Caporal, although I don't think I've ever seen that fragrance mentioned here even once.

One of my favourites. I have three versions: the original, when it was just called Hermes EdC, Orange Verte, and the Concentree. I like ‘em all.

Today I’m wearing Nicolai Pour Homme.

Today: Rien - I really love this scent. It's one of the richest and, dare I say, delectable leathers I've ever smelled, but there's nothing gourmand about it.

Byredo Green today. I don’t mind this, maybe it’s the petitgrain.

I am extremely curious. How does Rien compare to say Tuscan Leather?

SOTE is Cruel Intentions. I sometimes forget about this one; it's one of the better Kilians IMO.

That's a good question. The best way I can come up with an answer is to saying Rien is pretty near the middle of a spectrum book-ended by Tuscan Leather and Dior's Leather Oud.

    How do you like it?

Pre-shower was Une Voix Noire. If you don't like gardenia, there's no way you'll like this.
    SOTD is George Sand.

Thanks. That is actually a pretty good answer as I have also tried Leather Oud. Do you think the difference lies mainly in the aldehydes and the skank accord?

Today, tried Bulgari Black. Reminds me exactly of the smell of automobile tyres and black bikie leather. Very interesting, and if not for the screechy synthetics, I woud have considered taking it further.

By Kilian A Taste of Heaven. Good legs on this one, but the weather may be getting a bit warm for it.

SOTD: Ta'if by Ormonde Jayne. This is near the top of my list of favorites.

There's a little skank in the Rien, which pushes it towards Leather Oud, and I think the overall leather is a more vanilla-like version of Tuscan Leather and does not have the fruity smell of the latter.

Today: Chanel Eau de Cologne - such a beautiful creation of a so-often-bastardized style.
    Tonight: Chanel No. 19 parfum.
