Rome has tons of santoni all over the shopping district and a headquarters store.

    ThinkDerm,

I love those boots! Reminds me of one of my all time favorites, the Quirion which they've recently made with lighter weight sole.

My second pair recently arrived. Another E-bay purchase, but unlike my first pair these aren't FAMs, but something from their mid-tier selection, and have (gasp!) rubber soles. But hey, they were just over $200, they look great and are unbelievably comfortable right out of the box:

Nice, the Elliston. Great shoe to knock around in, especially city walking.

As promised, here are some Goodyear welted Fatte A Mano styles we brought in from Santoni's warehouse that are able to be special ordered. There are a few other styles we left out as there weren't many sizes left. E-mail me at hafiz.azly@nordstrom.com with inquiries.

By the way, we received our shipment on most of the Spring styles I've posted a few pages back. I just found out today however that my store is the only Nordstrom location that will be stocking some of them.

Also, I've got Saturday March 16th set in stone for our Santoni Trunk Show to correspond with the Zegna trunk show in Men's Clothing. You are invited to stop in if you are in the area.

I do love Santoni. At full retail their goodyears are getting pretty $$, but at least the discounts can be significant. I really wish they would give info on lasts - I think that gives competing brands an edge. Like a previous poster said, when they're right they are so right. Also sometimes bizarre. Favorites from my rotation:

I always thought the Norwegian welt sets Santoni apart.
