Anthony Vaccarello "people liked it when Hedi put those strappy ringy buckles on shoes, so I will put them on everything".

Well said. Agree on everything said. U can't go wrong either way. But over the seasons.. a lot prefer calf. But to be honest, it really depends where you live. And the lamb they use is very heavy it's not soft butter lamb like used on the l01 lamb version. The l17 lamb is much stiffer/heavy. Imagine a middle between calf/lamb

I feel like usually the first version is always the purest so even if that boot isn't under AV, I don't want to believe this is Hedi's work.

Fuck, the black velours weren't tempting me at first, but they're tractor beaming me now. Also like the black suede Devons up on farfetch, but missed my size there.

The runway pair has a different pattern than the farfetch version. Runway version seems more cowboy-esque and farfetch seems more dressy in the pattern.

Just spotted these over at matches... A little to in your face for me. Makes the red devons look subtle.

That made me puke in my mouth a little when I first saw them. Maybe I am not so fashion forward but these are hideous, so wasteful. Maybe it belongs in a museum but not on the streets. Smh.

Went with the safer choice. Velvet is nice but I don't know long term.

The shaft difference in size 43 is massive. I still like the old nut though. The leather is more rugged.

It seems like they're just throwing thing out now instead of having just a solid collection. Maybe i just haven't noticed it before but it feels like there are multiple variations on every piece.

Just a heads up. I was at the local century21 and they had Few of the jodhpurs in chocolate suede and black calf leather. Nothing in my size. If interested they have it in size 9.5-11.
