Not sure how any of you would consider this to be even remotely legitimate.

Not to be a downer, but those broken-English replies are such a bad sign. I'd contact eBay sooner than later that you have suspicions.

you're not being a downer, this smelled like shit and i'm an idiot for buying one and posting the link here in the first place. didn't mean to derail the thread into scammer support group territory. hopefully whichever sf boarders bought one and i won't have much of a problem getting our money back. as it stands now he immediately shipped something out to me and gave me a working tracking number: RA730500097IT

I read back a bit about how some people felt the 17.5cm's looked better without stacking. I bought a pair on a whim (with the % elastane) and they seem to behave differently from "normal" denim. Haven't decided if I'll keep/what I'm going to do about hemming if I do. Everyone else hem theirs?

I really wish Hedi would stop with the rock and roll theme. The first season was reasonably exciting, but as much as I would like to buy something, I don't need multiple variations of the same thing.

That said, this is quite polished and beautiful and certainly alot better than the current (crappy) collection

I like this collection almost as much as the fw13 collection. This actually looks like a proper fall collection with the heavier outerwear, knitwear, and scarfs. I'm not a huge fan of the creepers for myself but I like them styled in the collection. They look really cool in those midtop boots. I'm also stoked to see just as much color and print/patterns as I definitely don't have a problem buying similar/same items in diff fabrics or prints. That's one of the reasons I dig his collections because there's always something I can find and every collection so far is easy to style with another.

    Some of my faves

Could someone help me with how to identify the different cuts?

I bought my first pair (D02 M/SK-LW, 327138Y691B4067), thinking it was the 15.5 cm, but now I'm not so sure about the cut because they don't fit as skinny as I'd expected; I'm thinking these may be the 17.5 cm's. Either that, or I just sized incorrectly (I normally wear between 28 and 29, and got these in 29 when I should've sized down to 28).

I'm planning on listing these up for sale and ordering a new pair, so I just wanted some advice before I place the order.
If any of you are interested, by the way, please message me; I'm thinking of putting them up for around $360 on here, and for slightly higher on ebay.

I'd break out a ruler and measure the hem if I were you.

If it were that simple, I wouldn't have asked the question.

I'm pretty sure the hem widths change accordingly with the waist, which only makes sense; I read that the designated hem width for each cut is based on waist 32, and that as waist changes by 1 the hem width changes by 0.5 cm. For example, the 15.5 cm cut in size 29 would have an approximate hem width of 14 cm. I also know a guy who has three pairs of the 15.5 cm cut, and he told me that the ripped jeans have a 13 cm hem, and the rest of the 15.5 cm cuts in 29 have a 14.5 cm hem, which coincides with what I had read.

Check out Ssense and MrPorter for whatever jeans they have available for sale, they have measurements and you can compare your pair to theirs. MrPorter also labels which jeans it is, 17cm, 19cm, etc...

Well, do your jeans have a 14cm hem? Also, the 15.5cm jeans have a zip fly, while the 17.5cm jeans have a button fly.

Naw, mine are between 15 and 15.5 cm. I just talked to the guy again, and he clarified a few things up (he works in retail):

    - the "raw" D02's from AW13 aren't as skinny, and have ~15.5 cm hem width
    - the "raw" D02's from SS14 are around 14.5 cm, and are cropped, relative to AW13
    - the distressed D02's from AW13 (bleached & ripped, chained, stained) have around 13-14 cm hem widths

So basically, there's quite a bit of variance in the jeans of the same cut among the different seasons, and within the same season. And my jeans have a zip fly. So from all of that, it looks like mine are the 15.5 cm cut. I actually just tried them on again, and folded the hem inwards to a length I'd want the jeans hemmed, and they look a LOT better than with them stacked. So I think I'll be keeping these :) thanks for your help, guys.

i have two pairs of 15.5cm , both are size 28. one is coated black (porter) and one is raw (ssense).

i believe the hems are ~ 6" (~ 15.2cm). i'll try to take some measurements later this weekend. the waist on the coated black fit much more relaxed that the raws, but the legs fit about the same.

My hem measurement is the same as yours, so if ^^those are the ones you got from Ssense, then I'm thinking that mine are those as well. I guess I was just a bit confused because everyone kept talking about how tight the 15.5 cm's are, and mine didn't seem too skinny (mine have a bit of room in the waist, I don't think but sizing down to 28 would've made the legs much skinnier).
