[IMG] Couldn't help playing the "you hate on RR, so you must be low-class" card again? BTW, I just looked over Mustapha's watch porn pictures a few minutes ago and realized he posted on TimeZone as Jeff Low. I knew I saw his watches somewhere else. Dude has a Audermars Piguet Royal Oak Date Jumbo in SS. That's half of a vintage Rolls Royce right there. http://forums.timezone.com/?t=rview&...482#msg_num_18 http://theluxurybazaar.com/timepiece...0944ST_02.html
Outed again. Darn. [IMG] That 'Oak' was actually the culmination of years of deliberation before I bought it. Like 25 years. It actually spends more time in the safety deposit - it gets retrieved for weddings, etc. One of my sons will inherit basically a New Old Stock condition watch. This is what gives me everyday pleasure. [IMG]

Yeah, I still remember seeing the Benrus in the Vintage Watches board at TZ; that's how I connected the dots actually. Awesome watch.

BTW, you should post the Jumbo pic in the Watch Porn thread - I want to see Sator's reaction. [IMG]

hey whacked, Thanks, yes, a nice vintage watch can be all about discreet looks and relative affordabilty. What's your handle at TZ? 'PM' me if you feel like it. As to Sator ... I already needled him once about his flowery writing style. [IMG] He was pretty good about it as I recall. Best, -Moose (Jeff).

Christ guys, it's just a bunch of retirees who saved up to buy Rolls Royces. Would you hate on them as much if they spent the money on a series of holidays or a lake house? It's not like this is the top flight of the Houston establishment ostentating or something.

Incidentally, Stetsons are not the only nor even really the most popular make of cowboy hat.
