Jesus, feed that man a sandwich. I can't even tell if that suit is SF approved as I'm distracted by the skeletal frame it's draped over.

Speaking of ridiculous trends, this "back tie blade longer than the front and/or deliberately askew" thing drives me nuts.

His legs scare me. If he doesn't start eating, he's not long for this world.

In perspective, isn't that a small thing to drive you nuts? Shouldn't "drive me nuts" be reserved for something a bit more extreme?

It's always the little things, in everything, that drive me nuts.

I find this whole ' look at me - trying hard to look like I'm not trying hard' a bit pathetic really, and usually distracting from an otherwise good outfit. Timotune and Phat Guido are/were some of the worst offenders.

I read an interview with Bruno Cuccinelli recently where he said he has to re-tie his tie several times each morning until he achieves the right amount of studied nonchalance.

I can't remember who, but someone here has a fantastic rule that they will only give themselves one attempt at tying their tie and then live with it. I've since adopted a similar policy but with two attempts.

I will only retie for drastic length issues, which happen on occasion

In the grand scheme of things, everything involving clothing is utterly trivial. But on the scale of clothing related annoyances, it's significant enough. It's just so damned deliberate and affected, along with looking stupid in the first place.

I usually end up re-tying 3 or 4x just because of length

    Ugg boots on men.

I was waiting for the lights to change outside the entrance to Regent's Park in London, and I noticed a couple on the other side. She was wearing light brown ugg boots - and to my horror, I noticed he wore a dark grey peacoat, mid-blue jeans (not dark enough for my liking) with a pair of matching ugg boots!

    1. It is not the weather for ugg boots
    2. Ugg boots on men is such a 'No!'
    3. Ugg boots with mid-blue jeans

I don't actually mind cargoes if they've got really slim, understated pockets. Seen a few that don't have a pocket, just a flap that buttons down - makes a nice change from chinos if you want to look a little more rugged. Though I disagree with the #menswear fad of mixing them with ties and sportcoats

Cargo Pants have always been popular especially in the summer.

There was also a time when cargo pants influence jeans designs.
