Yoox owns a bunch of "own" brands, including "8" and Ciro Lendini, just like any other department store - Macy's, Nordstrom, Barneys, Saks, Neimans, all have house brands with different names for diffferent demographics.

However, Boccaccini does not appear to be one of those: http://www.bloomberg.com/profiles/companies/8931734Z:IM-boccaccini-spa

And cursory google search for photos which include boxes would indicate that it's retail that has been pulled (either that, or someone faked taking off a tag really carefully.)

Has anyone got any nice wallets/cardholders they can show me? I really want a new one because my old one is knackered but I can't settle myself on a style of any kind!

I could really do with some hints to see what others have got

They look good! If you don't mind me asking - how much did you pick up those for?

Would you recommend any particular brands?

Both were under 200 usd on sale, very nicely made...The leather is blue bridle leather, the stitching is white, the smaller is a tri-fold

^ Awesome, I was hoping someone here would get that :slayer: If not you then @Synthese I don't know the season but I'd guess Languid based on how it looks.

edit: not languid. I'd have to guess sometime in the 2004-2008 period. So hard to find stuff on UC from then.

That's an older season, looks like a good shot :)
I've had a dries wallet for 5ish years now and it has held up quite well.

    Yeah thanks for posting!

Languid seems to be womens, and S/S; do you think thats correct? a Lamb/Shearling would surely be A/W

^ you're right. It's a bit confusing to me, but as far as I can know women's was shown on the runway, but men's pieces were definitely produced. I found the show and yeah it's not Languid, I thought it was because the coat seemed very Salvador Dali-esque to me in how it sort of looks like it's melting.

That sounds like a good deal! I myself have thought about it and I'd like to go for something more colourful with a nice design pattern.

I've seen a company called Vianel who do this kind of thing. They make really nice Lizard skin wallets in cool colours too. But I'm looking for something British, not American-made. It would probably get to me quicker too!
