Rakuten has quite a few, and I bet y!jp would too. The brown color doesn't seem as common, but there are tons of different models in black. This is the same one I'm wearing in the picture, just in black. Measurements are about the same too--for reference I'm a true 36 with wimpy, useless shoulders.

Ann Demeulemeester copied chucks. So, Chucks copied Ann back, and does a pretty decent job.

In a related note, www.kithnyc.com does a much better job than nearly any other shop in photographing sneakers well.

Almost bought those, tiny zipper is annoying.

Looking at Kith's sneaker photos makes me feel really tiny

Cool sneaks tho. Sole looks like it'll last far longer than the Anns

Not even sure what that means. I like the zipper. It's not really that tiny. I haven't really compared that to the Ann zips though. My Anns have the ripple sole, which last just fine. The construction on Ann D. sneakers is suspect though, even if you are fairly generous with your standards. I've had to use shoe glue on mine after tripping on a curb. The kicks are cool. I might even be tempted to say that I like them more than many of Ann D's versions, which cost literally 5-8x more.

Nah, I was talking about me. I felt 5 inches tall viewing sneakers from that angle. Kind of thrilling really.

Side zips. Hopefully they're not as shiny as in the pic

Wow, grey version is great, too: [IMG] Kinda wish the zipper was inside-only, though.

I wear light colored footwear, but it's generally well done. Re. placement of the zippers - aesthetic preferences aside, I find that outside zippers are easier to use. Seriously though, a pretty darn good sneaker for $125. The midsole has the same stitching as the Ann D version. If it was a designer collab, they'd sell the thing for $300. I think that the "70s" Converse is generally considerably nicer than the standard issue. Marginal quality differences being marginal, I like the contour of the slightlly wider sidewalls.

Unionmade archive sale has some pretty decent stuff. Lots of TS(S). I picked up a couple pairs of Margaret Howell trousers.

I'm never sure what TTS means anymore, but a 10.5 US fits me in these. I am also a 10.5 in Visvim Skagways, and a size 43 in Common Projects/Butteros/Wings+Horns, and every other sneaker built on the Margom Serena sole. I am a size 10.5 in the Stan Smith, and size 45 in most Guidi, except for the 017, in which I am a size 44. I am a size 9.5 UK in most UK brands.

Are those converse still available somewhere? Have kind of wanted some lighter colored footwear lately and those are really nice (I'm a sz 43 if that makes any difference)

A lot of staples/nice basics. People generally don't get too worked up one way or the other about those. Post fits in WAYWT. :nodding:
