I realize that, it's just not my thing.
Tri colour Geller knit on the other hand? - how hasn't that thing sold out 10x over at that price? I wish he'd start making 54's or at least bigger 52's. All you regular humans need to buy that.

It's actually not an opinion, but rather a direct comparison. One thing I realized was that all of my ill-fitting IM were about 24.5" in length (same as the measurements on your site), which is about 2" shorter than any other medium knit I've ever worn. I do still have a couple that I like, though.

I'd be curious to hear what you think of Esk if you get a chance to try some in person.

Greg is you stock ESK, I'll line up. The shipping cost alone from Scotland is painful.

the collection is really beautiful and perhaps my favorite. a lot of the usual archives don't capture the garments well (obviously motion is one component) because 2-3 looks were sent out at once so they didn't bother taking pics of everything. worth a look if you've not seen and are interested:

    ss15 frames

marsell aw14, they fit huge so had to size down 2. not sure if still using guidi leather but i don't care they're very soft and incredibly comfortable (and blow the AnnD creepers I tried out of the water in that sense).

aw14 camo trousers and moto (for 2 diff people). i would like to just have the zippers

HAckermann aw14 wool coat (in black, though pretty sure this is same one diff color)

i guess this should have been in shouldibuy thread...still debating, unlikely to get ss15 wool gab buttoned hem, retail price is really good in japan but stil $$$ and maybe too drawcratchy for me !

Frank Leder handknit arrived today. It's surprisingly BROWN. But, there is a nice mix of greys and oranges in it, almost like a Donegal tweed. The wool is pretty nuts. it reminds me of lopi from Iceland, very long wool fibers. Trying it on, I find it incredibly warm, and the sleeves and body are plenty long. It could serve well as the main body of a bear costume, daily wear at a high alpine monastery, or on an Antarctic expedition. If I pull the tags off, it's easily reversible (inside is on the bottom of the photo). All in all, it's a very interesting piece unlike any other knit I own.

2nd opinion on this 5zip fit? no idea how, but think the 52 in this works on me--slightly limited range of motion (up and down, mostly), but not planning on doing calisthenics in the thing. plz excuse dirty mirror(s)

Hey guys, I'm new here. I've been hanging out on the Thrift/Discount stores bragging thread. Troika told me about this thread. I've been coping some pretty dope stuff for myself. I'm really into work wear. Sorry for the crappy photo. I apparently thrifted my phone, too.

    These just arrived today.

^what size are you? i can let you know if it doesn't work out. honestly, i didn't realize it was quilted when i bought it (thought it was just normal wool flannel) so i'm really hoping it's not too thick.
