Been wanting to try one of these out. Can you compare the cut to bb's extra slim fit ocbd or Thom Browne ocbd?

I'm afraid I haven't tried either. They are definitely slimmer and longer in the arms than Gitman Vintage.

Nothing like starting off the new year with a stupid purchase. Boring and jumping on the bandwagon, but I couldn't resist anymore. Goddamn you Internet.

BTW, SEVEN, Helsinki has the best prices I've seen anywhere: they deduct VAT and free shipping. Definitely recommend checking them out if you like the brands they carry.

I tried those geobaskets on recently but realized I don't have anything to wear them with, the bulkiness/curled up toe only goes with more rick. They felt indestructible though.

Uma Wang, underrated designer imo, by far the best out of the Chinese bunch, dressed by SF:

Trigger pulled. Do not love the way it looks in the photos all buttoned, but fabric looks awesome and style looks simple to fulfill a versatile top coat need.

kopped these marsell from barneys (pic from porter tho). they are super comfy--cushioned tongue! barneys price was like 60% off so i was happy about that. they were actually in my mr. porter shopping cart the night before, and then the next morning my size was sold out, but that afternoon barneys had them!

also got these okeeffe from mr porter. comes with a shoehorn, which is like a $1 accessory or something like that i'm sure, but still a nice touch. now i have a shoehorn. pretty comfy, though the toebox is really wide and i probably could've gone down a halfsize. i'm trying to take care of these, as they are work shoes, so i'm leaving them at the office and always using a shoe tree after i wear them.

also got a dolce gabbana wool overcoat from saks, no pic, but it's pretty classic, not super slim or anything like that, the only goofy detail is the sleeves are a little long AND it has functional sleeve buttonholes, which is kinda dumb imo. their suits were going for a pretty good price on sale, like $600, but the sleeves on those were ridiculously long.

Correct, though I'm not sure how "knowing" me tells you that (well unless you just mean I can't really afford the stuff, which yeah I guess is true hah)

this particular pair does have a pretty nice shade of black, the o'keeffe website documents some artisnal polishing procedure that i wonder if i couldn't do myself, so i don't know if it's worth the premium over the "felix leather derby shoes" that are presumably an identical shoe (my shoebox said "felix" on it), save for the fancy polishing that the "milo" gets. as far as i can tell, the leather doesn't seem markedly better or inferior to my black C&Js. they are goodyear welted according to the insole and have regular dainite soles. i have a pair of c&j boots with a dainite sole, and they feel similar to walk on. though italian made, i'd say they are more similar to british shoes than say a ferragamo.

no hate, but it's because in the past you tend to purchase mid level knock offs of designer pieces.

Well the zipper blazer sure, but "tend to"...really?
I guess the mohair knit is similar to that Saint Laurent one too, but no way anyone would mistake either of them for the other.

Not that it matters outside of this forum anyway, but still.
