Well, it started as a way to use less even hides. I personally really like the look and feel, but there are better and worse examples.

substance is something that flows well together, u can have style (flash) but substance has to be something that works together, something extra that makes it mesh really well

like a movie with a good storyline + acting + cinematography ... style + substance.

those jeans have no style AND substance, its pure shit. so plain looking. the kind that just digusts me .

How do you like the passport wallet? Is it way too huge? All I really want is lapel-sized passport/boarding pass/ sundries (custom forms etc) holder

I use something similar to this when I travel and it's very handy for keeping everything organized. I leave my passport, emergency credit cards, copy of my health insurance card, and frequent flyer cards inside of it and I'm always ready to go

I was worried about that, my Margiela one is 6.75 inches tall and sticks out just enough that I don't have to go digging for it in my jacket. This one is 9 inches but a lot slimmer and leather is pillow like (while being very light). I don't have many cards so I was specifically looking for a wallet with few card slots yet enough space to keep cash/documents straight. The height doesn't bother me at all, it is more accessible in the jacket plus doesn't feel as bulky. Pretty much love at first sight with it

I've found the optimal size to be around 3.5-3.75" wide and 7-7.5" long, I've had several long wallets in this range and size works great for that quick draw lapel storage

They arrived today. They're pretty rad though I've got a few more changes to make before they're perfect - slightly longer hem, pockets a couple inches deeper, etc. The moleskin they're made from is also way thicker than I thought it would be, so I need to get a thinner material to test the pattern on, to make sure they're not too tight.

    I'm thinking these next: http://custom.luxire.com/collections/pants/products/dugdale-black-self-stripe-8921

I'll post pics of the new ones as soon as I can take a picture of black clothing without killing all the details.
