I got the medium, which fits more like a "smedium." I dig it.

Yeah I'd heard CKC fits small so I got a small. Hoping it's a touch oversized but we'll see.

Yeah, ckc knits are weird. I tried a small like a year ago and couldn't get my head through the neck hole. then again, my head is huge

Yes they are, they're dipped in some sort of polyurethane coating. Looks pretty sick to be honest, they also sold out instantly. I have the obsidian and they have a slight sheen which is subtle, unlike the balenciaga which was too shiny.

It looks like those green ones will fade to a grey as the coating wears off.

This makes me feel only a little bit better about missing the same ones in green due to proxy issues.

Interesting. I was under the impression that the obsidian was the same fabric as the new black APC's.

Nope, unless they changed the APCs since last season. It's a black weave with a grey weft, and then coated in something so it's got a slight sheen.

KJ how do you feel about the weight of those? Too much for Florida summer?

I don't have the green, only the black, but I think it's the same denim. Honestly, any raw denim is going to be too much for summer in most places. They're 10oz, though, so on the lighter side, but still a lot thicker than something like Levi's.

The black JE's seem to wear really nicely (seen some evo pics) - almost look waxed after frequent wear. I'm happy for their success, but I miss being able to take my time buying from their site.

Yahoo Japan/Rakuten, B&S/Superfuture, or time travel.
Or buy the current season plain black version for $450

To this day I still regret not buying the green Geller flight shorts a few seasons back, even found them on sale too.
Gah, there is no emoticon that adequately expresses the way I feel!

(if anyone finds these, even the long version, in green, smallest size possible, PLEASE message me)

Cuffs on those RGs look pretty stretched.

(and planning on buying the black all-leather tote sometime this season too, just hope it doesn't sell out everywhere first!)
