This begs a pic of you wearing it while in the behbeh; full force big timer look.

    The Borg's little bro:

Using this photo I found online because it's much nicer than my own photo I posted in the thrift thread. Found at a neiman marcus outlet for $375 - wool/alpaca/cashmere blend.

I think the combination of the warm climate here plus the fact that its actual price wasn't easily discernible from the tag is why someone didn't scoop it up immediately. Maybe I just got lucky and it was put out that morning. I'm just glad I asked the SA how much the discount was.

I'm very fond of Last Call. It is the one outlet I ever check up on these days.

They look magnificent. But, what is the buckled "apron" across the vamp called? Is there a term for that or this style of shoe specifically? I'm just not familiar with it and would like to know. Regardless, they look like a beautiful example.

    Thank you.

I've seen where Edward Green refers to this as a kiltie.

Thanks! I've seen similar on a regular loafer but never with the strap (does that make it a monk?). Combined with the chiseled toe and brogue it's a whole different animal. I didn't think there were any shoe designs left to surprise me, but here I am.

You've got yourself quite a specimen there - wear them in good health! And, I for one would be happy to see more pics - especially in action!
