    ^ Dear NOBD,
Brilliant taste in music! There is a class of excellent old French cello masters who played the Dvorak with such clarity, restrained vigour, subtle lyricism; of those, I like Fournier the best.

Perfect muted pattern to add some loud colour underneath in a jumper, as long as it were grounded by darker trousers.

My thinking exactly. It's a bit less trim than most Italian jackets in sz 50, roomy enough for a cashmere sweater underneath.

i can see why. im disheartened by my lack of LP products. Other than a suit that i never wear, i have nothing LP. And i LOVE their stuff. A perfect mix of casual and dressy...and remains perfectly elegant. :nodding:

LP is hit and miss on the fit though. Material almost always superlative (as you might expect, although their shirts are nothing to write home about), but some of their cuts are positively sacklike.

I had a previous obsession over cashmere roadster overcoats and had to go all the way to a size small for them to fit the way I liked (40-41 chest). And it still fit roomy enough for a sweater underneath

this sucks. i remember trying on a gorgeous unlined SC at NM once that fit like a sack. I assumed it was just that model.

Looks very nice, is it green with rust? I can't quite make it. This thing must be very comfortable.

I'm terrible at identifying / naming colors, but checked a chart and rust is correct (and it's definitely green). I'm not sure if there's a name for the pattern (rust blocks on green, which form a grid). And yeah, comfy as grandpa's cardigan.
