I was standing on the subway and a cop made me move away from the door in an uncrowded train so he could stand by the door. I was irritated by this and other passengers looked confused as well. My girlfriend stood up for him and said all cops stand by the door. This is true I do see them standing by the doors, but, come on, it was a practically empty train.
