If only they could combine Magnoila with A&F and that rain thing at MOMA. Might save some people days.

    You work, dopey?

I have been getting handwritten letters in my mailbox for months from some Asian girl who wants to live in my building. She is ready to buy in cash, allegedly.

Best pho I've had in New York City was in one of those Canal Street stores selling fake luggage. There were two ladies cooking noodles and boiling stock at the back. The menu was written on a whiteboard in Vietnamese and English. Sadly the place closed.

Actually, in all honesty, their banana pudding is not bad. Went once with a cousin who was in town and HAD TO GO. I couldn't stoop to order a cupcake, so I got some banana pudding. Not bad.

The overall experience was, of course, Hell.

I ate like a pound of it once never to return again. It was that good, I had to gorge and then go cold turkey.

this weekend i saw at least 3 groups of asians looking around our little fire island town - they were day trippers, taking lots of pictures (and asking people to take their picture), and wlaking up and down the walks peering at houses. i have never seen this in 20+ years

in the pre-season you will see people looking around w/ a realtor, but never in the middle of july. there is a small communal bulletin board where kids offer babysitting and people put up lost towel or bike for sale notes. they were all ripping off the little tag ends that have the babysitter's phone # listed...

If you find some, please let me know. The pho in this city is pretty abysmal IME.
