Is that near 54th and 3rd? I walked by something earlier and couldn't figure out what it was. There was a roller bag in the street and lots of police tape.

idk. Since i was there so early into it all, it was all young cops. The guy got like 30 feet outside of the bank before it ended. As i'm sure one finds one, you cannot really run or do anything besides go with the flow of the crowd at that particular area at lunch.

you might say that robbing a bank at 54th and Lex at noon is natural selection at work

For all you fans of 90+ degree weather, if you had to choose btwn these 2 odors, which one would you rather be exposed to for a reasoanbly long period of time: baked urine or eau de sanitation truck?

Rotting garbage is such a profoundly awful smell.

urine, easy. Whenever one gets a whiff, it's usually "ah, whack, that's pee" but when a dump truck passes and you get a mouthful of that liquid garbage smell, one can feel their guts turn upside down. It's the absolute worst.

What about that horribly funky odor only an infected wound with necrosis and purulence can put out? I'll take all three over that.

Last night I was eating a head cheese sandwich and watching Alive. When they started cutting off pieces of butt meat I turned it off. Now I'm eating salad with shrimp and you bring me this????

I had this on my shoulder once after surgery. I have found whenever a doctor says, "Leave on the bandage and don't get it wet" you are best to tear the damn thing off and clean it daily.

Not dump, garbage, and not a whiff as you stroll by. I'm talking about the full-on stench emanating from the hopper in back...

Maybe it's worse up there. I've smelled dump (trash, sanitation, call it what you will) truck smell and I didn't think it was as bad. But hey, to each his own.

I'd take both smells combined compared to the smell of the nuts off of the female ginkgo trees they planted in my neighborhood. They literally smell like feces. A lot of complaints about them.
