tesseract just wants to make RHET great again.

in other news, had my first trigger point massage yesterday, which she limited to my upper back. The massager said i had the most trigger points of anyone she's ever seen. I feel a combination of terrible and heavenly today.

It's okay. Tesseract is just having a meltdown because he didn't know what HSPs really are other than sauna things.

It's like he forgets that this is SF and not t-nation or bodybuilding.com forums.

Please explain the point? I offered advice that I heard works and was attacked then offered a website that summarizes all of the research and that falls on deaf ears because HSPs are literally "ancient".

Not a victim, but to be completely fair I wasn't even talking to you or ridethecliche at all.

Have you heard of heat shock proteins? You should look into them.

Ok enough, enough. I'm sorry about being cunty to both you and @ridethecliche. It's just i make my living selling saunas and you are seriously hurting my reputation.

Back on topic of actual lifting speak, ever hear of shank levers? I was playing around with them and they are so fucking awkward and incredibly hard that I want to get good at them just to see what it does to my upper back.

    It's lats right? or rhomboids?

Not sure to what degree that bottomed out range of motion contributes to the development there. looking at the vid, I feel like being super strict with pullups and/or seated row might accomplish the same thing, but you'd have to be so strict about it you'd be sacrificing gains in other areas. I can definitely see how it would help with deadlifts.

I want to say it was a lot of lower trap but was very strange and difficult with the bar only. I have strong lats and rhomboids but bar only shank levers floored me. Like my last time I did dumbbell rows I was using the 150s for 7-8 reps with slow negatives but these are a different animal. Idk try it next time you want to fuck around with something new and give me some feedback, if you are interested of course.
